April 5, 6pm – 8pm | Salon Juste No. 4 – On Land: Climate Change & Environmental Justice in Miami

You can’t talk about the future of Miami without also reckoning with the impact that sea level rise and climate change will have on the landscape, geography and people of Miami. The environmental forces will not impact everyone in the same way, and some are more vulnerable than others. While the challenges on the horizon are formidable, we can’t afford to buckle under the magnitude of these challenges before us. We will anchor our conversation in Salon Juste No. 4 by acknowledging the challenges but also lifting up the ways in which people are trying to address them. Join us Wednesday, April 5 at 6pm as the sun sets over the bay on the Miami Science Barge, an inspiring project in itself, to connect with each other and exchange on this deeply relevant topic.

When: April 5, 2017; 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Where: Miami Science Barge @ Museum Park, 1075 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, FL 33132
Cost: $10.00
RSVP: Eventbrite
